Great for indoor kids. :( We love Naturino Barefoot shoes, and have purchased multiple pairs. Unfortunately, our new sandals didn't last longer than one bike ride outside, as the fabric ripped on the front of both sandals.
Thanks so much for your feedback! Leather is a natural material, so it can show wear more quickly with activities like bike riding—especially if kids use the top of the toe to brake on concrete. That kind of friction is tough on any leather shoe.
For kids who love to ride bikes or drag their toes, we usually recommend styles with a reinforced “bump toe” or rubber overlay at the front. They’re designed to handle that kind of wear a bit better.
